Alliance dominates paiN Gaming to claim victory at Dota Summit 10

Alliance Dominates Dota Summit 10, Secures Tournament Victory

Alliance emerged as the clear favorites in Dota Summit 10, and they proved their dominance by only losing three games throughout the entire tournament, ultimately securing the championship title.

Early wins against Complexity Gaming, J Storm, and Team Serenity put Alliance in a strong position, while paiN Gaming demonstrated that they were the only team fully prepared to challenge the European squads on their way to The International 2019.

During the playoffs, Alliance faced off against paiN, who had previously handed them their only loss in the group stage. In a rematch, paiN once again showcased their impressive gameplay, but Alliance ultimately came out on top.

Game two and three reached the 60-minute mark as both talented teams traded blows. Despite a valiant effort from paiN, Alliance managed to secure victory.

After being knocked into the lower bracket, Alliance swiftly defeated Team Serenity and advanced to the grand finals for a rematch against paiN.

In the finals, paiN struggled to counter Alliance’s strategies, particularly the outstanding performance of Michael “miCKe” Vu’s Sven and Max “qojqva” Bröcker’s Death Prophet.

Despite game one being dominated by paiN, game two saw a change in Alliance’s tactics, as they grouped up in lanes and overwhelmed paiN. The victory allowed qojqva to shine as Death Prophet once again.

In game three, paiN put up a strong fight during the first 10 minutes, but poor decisions and overall bad play cost them the series.

Under the leadership of Samuel “Boxi” Svahn and exceptional spear throws from Mars, Alliance secured a clean sweep with a 3-0 victory.

Alliance’s impressive performance secured them the Dota Summit 10 championship, serving as a strong warmup for The International 2019, which kicks off on August 15.
