Alliance Announces Departure of Entire Dota 2 Roster

Alliance Parts Ways with Dota 2 Roster

Alliance, one of the most storied Dota organizations globally, has confirmed the departure of its Dota 2 roster for the upcoming season. Initially, it was believed that the team would stick together for the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit. However, the organization and players have decided on a transfer.

A Sad Farewell, But a New Beginning

In a statement, Alliance coach and co-owner Jonathan “Loda” Berg expressed his sadness about parting ways with the team. He also acknowledged the hard work and growth they have experienced together. However, he expressed optimism about the future and hinted at exciting plans for the organization in 2019/2020.

The Future for the Former Alliance Players

The current roster, captained by Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi, will continue playing together on a different team. While it is unclear where the former Alliance players will end up, teams like Team Liquid are actively looking for talented players and could potentially sign them.

Building a New Alliance Roster

Alliance is already in the process of building a new Dota 2 roster from scratch. The organization is expected to announce its new lineup soon, possibly in time for the DPC qualifiers on October 5th. With the team’s legendary TI3 roster currently competing at Midas Mode 2.0, there may be a chance for one last run from the former champions.

Moving Forward with Alliance

Despite the changes, Alliance remains committed to maintaining its position as a competitive force in the Dota 2 scene. The management team is determined to field a strong roster for the upcoming season, continuing the legacy of the esteemed organization.
