Alliance and Ninjas in Pyjamas Set to Represent Europe at the StarLadder Minor

Alliance and Ninjas in Pyjamas Dominate StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Qualifiers

Alliance and Ninjas in Pyjamas showcased their skills in the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor qualifiers. Both European squads outperformed their competitors and secured their spots in the tournament playoffs.

The Final Tribe was the only team capable of challenging NiP and Alliance during the playoffs. However, NiP proved to be the stronger team and managed to sweep The Final Tribe in the first round. In the subsequent match, NiP faced off against Alliance, who had an unbeaten record in the event.

Despite a strong performance from Alliance, NiP took an early lead in the first game and continued their dominance to secure a victory in the second, ultimately securing their place in the Minor.

With this win, NiP has qualified for their second consecutive Minor. Even if they don’t perform well in the tournament, they have already secured a place in The International 2019, sitting in eighth place on the Dota Pro Circuit leaderboard with 2470 points.

Alliance, on the other hand, faced off against The Final Tribe once again and emerged victorious, claiming the second seed in the EU qualifiers. However, in order to secure a spot in TI9, they need to work their way up from 15th to 12th place and fend off other competitors.

If Alliance makes it to the Major, they have a strong chance of claiming one of the remaining spots since Keen Gaming, J Storm, and Chaos Esports Club are not participating in either event.

The StarLadder Minor will take place from June 12 to 16, and the two top-performing teams will receive invitations to the EPICENTER Major later in the same month. This is an opportunity for Alliance and NiP to further cement their positions in the esports scene.
