StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Season Three Group Stage: Alliance and Business Associates Get Favorable Matchups

Season three of StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 is less than two weeks away. The group stage lineup has been revealed and it appears that Alliance and Business Associates have scored the best matchups.

Alliance and Business Associates are the most experienced teams in the current Dota Pro Circuit meta and have achieved the best results overall, apart from two other teams in attendance.

Business Associates will be playing against a few inexperienced rosters and Team Aster in Group A. On the other hand, Alliance will face tougher competition in the form of Gambit Esports and the new-look Fighting PandaS, who both have some DPC experience this season.

The eight teams will compete in best-of-three matches to determine the playoff seeding. The top two teams will enter the upper bracket, while the third-placed team will enter the playoffs through the lower bracket. The team that finishes last will be eliminated.

The winning team will receive $72,000, 140 DPC points, and a spot at the ESL One Lost Angeles Major. This is a crucial moment in the season for several teams, including Alliance, as they aim to secure a spot at The International by earning more points.

The matches will take place from March 5 to 8. The first series will be between Business Associates and forZe, with the start time to be announced later.
