The top build for Legion Commander is fairly standard. Players start with Tangos, Quelling Blade, Iron Branches, Circlet, and Gauntlets of Strength. These items are then built into Bracer and Magic Wand for an early game stat boost. Boots of Speed, Vanguard, Phase Boots, Blade Mail, Blink Dagger, Black King Bar, and either Assault Cuirass or Heaven’s Halberd are the subsequent items. Silver Edge is also a viable alternative to Blink Dagger, often replacing it in the build.
Recent Changes and Future Nerfs
Legion Commander has undergone significant changes in recent months, particularly in the 7.33 update released on April 20. Overwhelming Odds, one of the hero’s key abilities, was modified to provide a greater attack speed bonus on Legion Commander instead of a movement speed bonus per hero and creep hit.
