Winterfox at risk of missing rest of CS:GO Pro League season due to visa complications

Winterfox’s CS:GO Roster May Miss out on ESL Pro League Season 5

Winterfox’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) roster may not be able to participate in the fifth season of the ESL Pro League due to issues with work visas, according to Slingshot Esports.

The team, made up of players from Australia and New Zealand, joined the organization last August. However, after returning home, Winterfox management allegedly failed to assist the players in obtaining visas or flight tickets back to the U.S. This means that the roster will likely not be able to return to North America in time for their remaining games in the league.

The players – Mike “apoc” Aliferis, Chris “emagine” Rowlands, Chris “ofnu” Hanley, Ryan “zewsy” Palmer, and Razmik “RaZ” Bastadjan – have also claimed that they have not received any salary for the month of March. While they have contacted ESL about the situation, the tournament organizer has urged them to resolve the issue themselves.

In response, former Winterfox player Todd “anger” Williams has spoken openly about his time with the organization, alleging that the previous roster was treated similarly to the current squad.

Next Game Scheduled for April 13

The team’s next game in the ESL Pro League is set to take place on April 13 against Renegades.
