Why the EnvyUs team has strong potential to become top contenders in the upcoming months

EnvyUs Roster Change: A Promising Start

EnvyUs has had a flying start after their recent roster change, with a victory at IEM Gamescom where they only lost one map to Mousesports. This LAN win shows promise for the team in the coming months as they strive to contend for the number one spot, just like their old lineup did.

Beating the Current #1 Team, Fnatic

One of the key challenges for this new lineup will be beating the current number one team, Fnatic. The worst player for Envy against Fnatic has been Smithzz, performing poorly in three out of the last five matches between the teams. On the other hand, looking at the performance of the old Titan roster against Fnatic, Apex was only at the bottom of the scoreboard once, despite their four losses. The only time Titan won, both kennyS and Apex led the team to victory with the others lagging behind. Happy from the EnvyUs old roster also had to push his team to victory with help from Shox. This leads us to the conclusion that if kennyS and Apex continue their strong performance, they have the potential to beat the current number one team and possibly take the throne.

Clearing Up Role Issues in the Team

Fortunately, the roster changes seem to have resolved the problem of roles within the team. In an NBK VLOG, it was confirmed that their roles have been sorted out. Happy is now the in-game leader and lurker, kennyS is the awper, Apex is the entry fragger and mid-round caller, Kioshima is the mid-round player and clutcher, and NBK is the support. These roles fit the players well and contribute to the team’s success.

Happy, no longer threatened by Shox, can focus on strategies at the start of the round with help from Apex. KennyS’s role as the main carry has been removed, allowing him to play better individually. This also enables Happy to focus on lurking and rifling, which he is better at. Apex benefits from being an entry fragger in a team that can thrive without relying solely on his kills. Under the strict strategies of Ex6Tenz in the old lineup, Apex felt pressure, but now he can play more freely. Kioshima’s impact on the game is now appreciated more by fans and his explosive nature is valued. Finally, NBK, known for his versatility and amazing Inferno B holds, seems to be getting back to his old dominant self after a personal slump and the roster change.

Staying Together for Success

While individual skill is important, it is crucial for the team to work well together. Staying together as a team is the most key factor for success. It is important for the team to remain united and avoid disbanding in the future. The EnvyUs lineup has the potential to achieve great success, and it is hoped that they will stay together to make the most of their skills and abilities.
