Three teams with something to prove in New York City

Natus Vincere

ESL One New York is an important event for Natus Vincere, as it will be the second offline event for their newly formed roster. They have the opportunity to prove that their lineup can compete with the best in the world, including SK Gaming.

Natus Vincere’s previous lineup, which included Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko, had great success last year, finishing second in two consecutive majors and winning several tournaments. However, their performance declined this summer, leading to a roster change. They added Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who had previous success with Team Liquid, to their lineup.

With s1mple joining Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács and Egor “flamie” Vasilyev, Natus Vincere has a very talented roster. However, they have not performed well in recent offline tournaments, so they need to show their strength and regain their reputation at ESL One New York.

This tournament is crucial for Natus Vincere to prove themselves and maintain their reputation as one of the top teams in the world.

Fnatic

Fnatic has been a dominant force in the CS:GO scene for a long time, but they recently underwent a major roster change. The new lineup has not yet played in an offline event, so ESL One New York will be their first opportunity to show if they can still be considered “global champions.”

Before the roster change, Fnatic had many victories and successes. While they have not achieved the same level of success since the change, they have shown promise in the ESL Pro League matches. This tournament will be a test for Fnatic to see if they can reach their previous level of performance and compete against top teams.

Fnatic will also want to prove that they came out stronger from the roster shuffle compared to their former teammates in GODSENT. With the best teams in the world competing at ESL One New York, this event will be an important opportunity for Fnatic to establish themselves as a top team again.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid has the challenge of performing well at ESL One New York without their former star player, s1mple. Although they still have a strong lineup, including Jacob “Pimp” Winneche, they need to show that they can maintain a high level of play without their Ukrainian powerhouse.

Liquid’s main objective at this tournament is to prove that they can replicate their success from the Cologne major without s1mple. They also want to regain their status as the best team in North America. This event will be their first chance to showcase their new lineup and establish themselves as a top team once again.

ESL One New York is an important tournament for all these teams as they have something to prove and reputations to maintain. It will be an exciting weekend of Counter-Strike competition.
