Thorin’s Latest CS:GO Top 10 World Rankings – April 21st, 2017

CS:GO World Rankings – April 2017

CS:GO has always struggled with creating a consistent set of World Rankings. Determining which tournament results should count more than others is challenging. Instead of using a complex point system, I have analyzed recent team performances to create my global top 10 rankings.

Only offline results are taken into consideration. I consider a team’s performance over a three-month period, with more recent tournament results weighed more heavily. Factors such as finishes, consistency, current form, and opponents faced are all considered in the analysis.

Astralis – Holding Firmly at the Top

Astralis retains the top spot in the rankings, continuing their streak of success. They finished second at StarSeries and have consistently performed well in top 10 ranked matches, with six Bo3 series wins and nine Bo1 wins.

FaZe Rising, but Still a Long Way to Go

FaZe is showing promise, but they have yet to match Astralis’ recent accomplishments. While they have had some impressive finishes, they need to accumulate more series wins to catch up.

Virtus.pro – Struggling in Recent Tournaments

Virtus.pro has had a rough few tournaments, but their past successes and five Bo3 series wins still keep them high in the rankings. They need to improve their finishes and series wins to stay ahead of the competition.

FaZe – Making Their Way Up

FaZe’s recent victory at StarSeries has pushed them towards the top of the rankings, but they still need more big series wins to catch up to the top teams.

SK Gaming and Na’Vi – Holding Strong

SK Gaming and Na’Vi both retain their top spots in the rankings, but they need to continue performing well to maintain their positions.

North – Underwhelming Performance

North’s recent underwhelming performance has caused them to drop in the rankings. They need to secure more series wins and achieve deeper finishes to move up.

Immortals – Relying on Past Form

Immortals is currently relying on their past form in Katowice to maintain their spot in the rankings. They need more consistent finishes to stay ahead of the competition.

HellRaisers – Surprising Placement

HellRaisers’ strong performance at StarSeries has secured them a surprising eighth spot in the rankings. If they can continue to perform well in upcoming tournaments, they have the potential to move up.

Gambit and FNATIC – Struggling to Find Consistency

Gambit has struggled to live up to their potential and currently lack a ranked series win. FNATIC, on the other hand, has returned to the rankings with some good finishes and wins over strong opponents.

These are my CS:GO Top 10 World Rankings for April 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
