Temporary Replacement Brought in by NiP for Pyth

The Latest Addition to Ninjas in Pyjamas Roster Benched Due to Injury

Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), the famous Swedish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) team, has had to sideline their newest member, Jacob “pyth” Mourojärvi, due to an injury.

As a replacement, NiP has brought in Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun from Epsilon Esports. disco doplan’s recent performances in DreamHack Summer 2016 and ASUS ROG Summer 2016 have earned him recognition in the Swedish CS:GO scene.

pyth began experiencing reduced mobility in his right arm after practice sessions, affecting his in-game performance and personal life. Despite taking a two-week break, pyth’s issues persisted, leading NiP to involve disco doplan as pyth seeks treatment for his injury.

NiP clarified that disco doplan is only temporarily filling in for the ESL Pro League and will not permanently replace pyth. The organization sees this as a suitable solution in an unfortunate situation.

Pyth joined NiP as the fifth official member after the departure of Aleksi “allu” Jalli. He played a crucial role in helping the team win their first gold medal in almost a year.
