Tempo Storm Transfers CS:GO Roster to Immortals

Tempo Storm Releases CS:GO Roster to Immortals

In a press release, Tempo Storm announced that it has released its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) roster to Immortals.

This move marks Immortals’ entry into the world of competitive first-person shooters, as the organization is primarily known for its accomplishments in League of Legends. However, Immortals has recently approached other CS:GO teams, including GODSENT, Splyce, and Renegades, according to ESPN’s Jacob Wolf.

Immortals’ CEO, Noah Whinston, expressed his excitement about working with the former Tempo Storm team and looks forward to future collaborations with Andrey and the Tempo Storm organization.

Tempo Storm was denied the opportunity to play in Turner and WME|IMG’s ELEAGUE, which prompted Immortals to acquire the growing team.

Immortals posted the announcement on its Facebook page in English and Brazilian. Whinston commented that there isn’t a team better suited to play under the Immortals banner. In addition, Henrique “hen1” Teles, known for his AWP play, praised Immortals and its support.

“We are very happy to join Immortals. It’s incredible the support they have given us since the first day. We have never been so motivated to reach our goals and be the best. We would like to thank Immortals for this opportunity and we will not take this for granted. We are going to keep doing our work and representing Immortals in the best way we can.”

Since moving to North America, the team has experienced significant growth as players, winning five first-place finishes in the last year, including CEVO Gfinity Pro-League Season 9 and ESEA Season 21 Premier Division. This success earned them a spot in the upcoming ESL Pro League season.

Tempo Storm’s founder and CEO, Andrey “reynad” Yanyuk, expressed his sadness about parting ways with the CS:GO team but believes that Immortals will be an excellent home for them. He is proud of what they have accomplished with Tempo Storm and wishes them the best of luck in their careers moving forward.
