Team Dignitas parts ways with jkaem, fox, and loWel

Changes to Team Dignitas CS:GO Roster

Team Dignitas is shaking up its CS:GO roster after a lackluster year internationally.

Dignitas revealed today that they will be parting ways with Christian “loWel” Garcia Antoran, Ricardo “fox” Pacheco, and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, effectively ending their contracts. The players decided to split up after attempting to find a cohesive roster, according to the organization. The last time the team competed in an international event was in the Krakow Major Offline Qualifier in June.

The departure of the players leaves behind coach Morten “zEVES” Vollan, Jørgen “cromen” Robertsen, and Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel. RUBINO is currently on loan to Astralis for the rest of 2017. There have been rumors of a potential split among several key players on Astralis in 2018, but nothing has been confirmed.

However, the remaining trio is still under contract with Dignitas. If they choose to pursue other opportunities, they will either have to fulfill their contract or negotiate a transfer buyout.

Dignitas also hinted at the possibility of a new roster formation in 2018. It’s unclear whether they will build around the current players or create an entirely new roster.
