Tarik Joins OpTic Gaming

OpTic Drops Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz for Tarik “tarik” Celik

OpTic, a prominent esports organization, has recently made some significant changes to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. Earlier this week, they announced their new gaming house, and now they have decided to drop player Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and pick up ex-Counter Logic Gaming star, Tarik “tarik” Celik. Tarik, who took a break from competitive gaming to focus on streaming, is now back and ready to join a team with great potential.

OpTic’s team has not had much success lately, with their best performance being a top-16 placement in the ESL One Cologne Major. However, they are currently performing well in the ESL Pro League, winning both maps against compLexity Gaming. Tarik will make his debut with the team tonight against Team Liquid in the ESL Pro League, where they will strive to maintain their undefeated record.

In my opinion, I question the reasoning behind this move. It would make more sense if OpTic wanted to add an experienced player to their team after losing to top-tier organizations, but that is not the case. Personally, I believe they should have waited to see how the team performs against Team Liquid tonight before making any changes. Their team has shown success so far, so disrupting that seems unnecessary. However, it is their team, and they have the right to make decisions as they please.
