Intel Extreme Masters Returns with Another Counter-Strike Event in Oakland, California
Intel Extreme Masters is back for its third consecutive year with another exciting Counter-Strike event. This time, the event will be held in Oakland, California at the Oracle Arena on November 19-20. A total of 12 teams will be competing, and so far, seven teams have been confirmed. Here are the confirmed teams:
- SK Gaming: coldzera, FalleN, fer, fnx, TACO
- Team Liquid: nitr0, EliGe, Hiko, jdm64, Pimp
- Virtus.pro: byali, NEO, pashaBiceps, Snax, TaZ
- Astralis: device, dupreeh, Kjaerbye, karrigan, Xyp9x
- Ninjas In Pyjamas: f0rest, friberg, GeT_RiGhT, pyth, xizt
- G2 Esports: bodyy, RpK, ScreaM, shox, SmithZz
- Natus Vincere: Edward, flamie, GuardiaN, seized, S1mple
Five More Teams to Be Confirmed
Five more teams will be announced soon for the IEM Oakland 2016. The tournament staff will release the names of these teams shortly. The event will have two six-team groups, and only four teams from the group stage will advance to the championship bracket of the tournament. Some potential teams that may also attend are:
