Seizing the Day with Stewie2k and Slemmy

Opportunity of a Lifetime

Cloud 9’s roster faced challenges in November 2015 when sgares left the team. After making two roster changes, Cloud 9 achieved their best results by reaching second place in Group A of E-League. The additions of Stewie2k and Slemmy were seen as genius moves. However, these were not their first choices, as Cloud 9 had approached several other players. The roster changes were not planned or expected, but they ultimately saved Cloud 9’s CS:GO team.

Seizing the Opportunity

Stewie2k and Slemmy proved their worth as soon as they joined Cloud 9. They had spent a year in lower- and mid-tier NA teams, but this was their big chance to shine. Both players played together on different rosters in the past, and Slemmy is familiar with Stewie2k’s playstyle. The addition of Slemmy also freed up n0thing to focus on his individual performance. Cloud 9’s current roster is showing rapid improvement, and they have fixed many issues on their T side.

In just three weeks, Cloud 9 has made significant progress. They have a better structure and teamplay, and their T side is much stronger. However, consistent firepower remains a question mark for the team. Despite these flaws, Cloud 9 has shown strength that hasn’t been seen in a long time. They have a chance to make it to the playoffs and compete globally, thanks to the playmaking and leadership of Stewie2k and Slemmy.

These two players have given Cloud 9 hope when there was none before. They have become integral to making Cloud 9 the best CS:GO team in North America and have the potential to compete on the world stage. It’s remarkable how these players were not on anyone’s radar just a few months ago.
