Reportedly, Immortals sets a $1 million buyout for its controversial CS:GO trio.

Immortals has set a high buyout price of $1 million for three of its benched Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, according to HLTV.

The buyout is due to the fact that Henrique “Hen1” Teles and Lucas “Lucas1” Teles have expressed their desire to compete with former Immortals AWPer Vito “kNg” Giuseppe on a new roster. This would transfer Immortals’ legend-status at the upcoming ELEAGUE Boston Major to their new team, as it would consist mostly of the Immortals roster that reached the grand final of the latest Valve Major.

Some news sites report the buyout price at $1 million, but former Slingshot Esports contributor Jared “DeKay” Lewis suggests it could be a lesser amount, possibly $600,000.

Rosters interested in maintaining their legend-status have until November 10 to secure a deal. This comes two months after Immortals removed “kNg” from its roster and benched Hen1 and Lucas1.

The Brazilian CS:GO roster had reached the grand finals of the PGL Kraków Major on July 23, but the team fell apart due to an incident involving “kNg” threatening another player. Hen1 and Lucas1 were also benched shortly after. Since then, all three players have expressed their desire to leave the organization and potentially join forces with “kNg” and Team One’s Bruno “bit” Lima on a new team.

It remains to be seen whether the trio will compete at the upcoming Valve Major on January 19.
