North American CS2 Pro Player EMIYA Banned for Cheating on FACEIT

Damian Boulware, a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from North America, has been given a ban for cheating on FACEIT. The incident came to light on Feb. 19, just a few days before the PGL CS2 Major American RMR is set to take place, where Boulware’s team, Rocket, was supposed to compete. This ban has led to internal turmoil within the team as another player, Ahmed Mahmoud, expressed that he will not attend the RMR tournament, stating that the team doesn’t deserve their spot, according to HLTV. Rocket is also accused of breaking the rules during the closed qualifier for the event by allowing their coach to communicate with the players during games, which is strictly against the rulebook.
