The WESG European and CIS Region Finals: A Glimpse into the World of Counter-Strike

The WESG European and CIS Region Finals are about to kick off, featuring some of the best teams in the world of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Alongside well-known teams like Virtus.pro, Dignitas, GODSENT, and Team EnVyUs, there will be some lesser-known teams such as Guerilla Methods and Fish123.

These groups will compete in best-of-one matches using a round-robin format, all aiming to secure a share of the $75,000 prize pool and earn one of the eight tickets to the grand final of WESG Global Finals, where the prize pool will be a staggering $1.5 million.

Epsilon Esports

During the Gfinity Invitational at EGX, Epsilon Esports showcased their skills both on LAN and in front of a crowd. This rising team, with star players like William “Draken” Sudin and Joakim “Disco Doplon” Gidtum, has impressed many with their ability to fill in the gaps and their overall talent.

Kinguin

Kinguin, a seasoned team in search of an event win, is determined to seize this opportunity. Although they face tough competition in their group, the best-of-one format gives them a chance to qualify for the Global Finals.

ALTERNATE aTTaX

ALTERNATE aTTaX, having recently qualified for the second season of ELEAGUE by beating GODSENT, faces formidable opponents such as EnVyUs and Dignitas in their group. It will be interesting to see if they can hold their own against these strong teams.
