The MLG Columbus CSGO Major LAN Event
The Major League Gaming Columbus Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major LAN event begins on Tuesday and will last for six days. The first three days will feature group play matches held in the MLG Arena. Here are the groups:
Group A
Group B
Group C
Group D
The top two teams from each group will advance to an eight-team, single-elimination bracket. The quarter and semi-finals will take place on the fourth and fifth days, leading to the championship Sunday. These matches will be played in the Nationwide Arena in Columbus. The remaining teams will battle it out for the number one spot.
The prize pool for this major has increased since the last one, resulting in an altered prize distribution:
Prizes = $1,000,000
- 1st = $500,000
- 2nd = $150,000
- 3rd = $70,000
- 5th = $35,000
- 9th = $8,750
- 13th = $8,750
