Peacemaker Joins NRG Esports

NRG Esports Announces Luis “Peacemaker” Tadeu as General Manager and Coach

After a month-long absence from the Counter-Strike esports community, Luis “Peacemaker” Tadeu has made the decision to join NRG Esports. With the implementation of Valve’s new coaching rule, which limits a team’s use of coaches during a match, many organizations have been hesitant to hire individuals for coaching positions. However, Tadeu will be taking on the role of General Manager and Coach for NRG starting in 2017.

Building a Team from Scratch

Peacemaker, the former coach of Team Liquid’s CS:GO team, revealed that he chose to join NRG because he wants to build a team from the ground up. In his TwitLonger post, Tadeu expressed his love for the idea of creating his own team, even though he had the opportunity to join a top-tier team that was already successful. With his previous coaching experience with Team Liquid in 2016, Peacemaker’s addition to NRG could potentially improve their success in the North American Counter-Strike scene as the new year approaches.
