PashaBiceps: “If we stick together and don’t split up, it will be the ‘Miracle on the Vistula'”

Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski Raises Concerns About Virtus Pro’s Future

Virtus Pro’s secondary AWP and lurker, Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, took to Facebook to express his team’s frustrations and hinted at the possibility of a disbandment.

The Polish players of VP have experienced a significant decline in performance, especially following their victory at DreamHack Las Vegas and second place finish at the ELEAGUE Major earlier this year. pashaBiceps shared his disappointment, stating, “The third tournament of nothing! In the eight years of my career! Hasn’t been so weak yet! Six months ago we gave up the Major final.”

Amidst their struggles, pashaBiceps expressed his despair, asking, “What do you do to keep from going crazy? What do you do to get back to where you were?”

Unfortunately, VP has failed to qualify for the ESL Pro League and the StarLadder i-League Star Series. They have also faced early elimination from tournaments such as IEM Katowice and ESL Cologne. These poor showings have highlighted serious flaws within the team’s system.

Concluding his post, pashaBiceps referred to the team’s potential comeback as a “Miracle on the Vistula,” drawing inspiration from the historic Battle of Warsaw in 1920. This battle symbolized the Polish victory against all odds, paralleling Virtus Pro’s current struggle against themselves.

With the team at a crossroads, VP may undergo significant changes if they do not perform well at the upcoming Krakow Major, where they will have the advantage of playing on their home turf in Poland from July 16 to 23.
