OpTic Adds CS:GO Player tarik to Roster

OpTic Gaming Signs Former Counter Logic Gaming Frontman Tarik “tarik” Celik

OpTic Gaming has elevated their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup by signing former Counter Logic Gaming leader Tarik “tarik” Celik.

Tarik recently stepped down from his position in the starting lineup of Counter Logic Gaming, stating that he would be focusing on streaming until his contract with the organization expired. Seizing the opportunity, OpTic Gaming made the decision to acquire tarik before he became a free agent.

Release of Peter “Stanislaw” Jarguz for New Addition

Peter “Stanislaw” Jarguz was released from OpTic’s lineup in order to make room for tarik. In a statement on Twitter, Jarguz revealed that he was informed about the decision by a third-party source, rather than directly by the organization, up to two weeks after the team had approached tarik. Whether Jarguz will join another team remains unclear at this time.

OpTic Gaming with tarik on board will make their debut tonight in the ESL Pro League against Team Liquid. This matchup will include former teammates tarik and Josh “JDM” Marzano, who both played together on CLG this year. They will face each other on Mirage and Cobblestone.
