Astralis started their group stage campaign with a dominant 16-3 victory against Renegades on Train, one of their strongest maps. Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz stood out with a 25-8 kill-death ratio and an impressive average damage per round of 122.1. He also secured the most AWP kills in the server, totaling 13.

Meanwhile, Na’Vi breezed past Virtus Pro with a convincing 16-4 scoreline on Inferno. Notably, they didn’t lose a single round on their Counter-Terrorist side. Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev matched dev1ce’s AWP kills at 13 in his team’s victory, although his kill-death ratio of 21-9 was slightly lower. Egor “flamie” Vasilyev also had an impressive performance with a 22-9 kill-death spread in Na’Vi’s first match.

These two European powerhouses will clash in a best-of-three match tomorrow to secure the first playoff spot in Group B. Meanwhile, Virtus Pro and Renegades will compete in the losers’ match later today to avoid elimination from the tournament.
