Muffin Lightning replaces Echo Fox at the North American ELEAGUE Minor

Team Muffin Lightning Granted Second Chance in ELEAGUE Minor Qualifiers

The North American ELEAGUE minor now has an unexpected participant as Muffin Lightning steps in to replace Echo Fox in the upcoming qualifiers. This opportunity arises after Echo Fox’s entire Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster entered free agency. In the closed North American minor qualifiers for the ELEAGUE major, Muffin Lightning finished just below Echo Fox.

A Chance for Redemption

From December 3 to 4, Muffin Lightning will compete against Cloud9, Immortals, and Team SoloMid for one of the two spots available in the ELEAGUE minor. This competition serves as the final step before the much-anticipated ELEAGUE major.

Building a Roster

Muffin Lightning’s roster is composed of well-known players from the lower ranks of competitive CS:GO in North America. Former players from NRG, Splyce, and compLexity have joined forces to create this team.

Ups and Downs in the Qualifiers

Muffin Lightning’s performance in the closed qualifiers can be described as a mixed bag. Their most notable victory was against the newly restructured Immortals roster, which had recently replaced their in-game leader Wilton “zews” Prado with Lucas “steel” Lopes.
