Mousesports Faces Elimination as Liquid Dominates on Nuke
In the second elimination match of the day, mousesports and Liquid went head-to-head on Nuke.
Liquid gained the advantage in the pistol round despite conceding the bomb plant, thanks to three impressive frags from Pimp. They continued their dominance by easily closing out the next five rounds.
Mousesports managed to secure their first round, with NiKo delivering a 4k despite EliGE’s entry frag on Spiidi. However, Liquid swiftly turned the tables and won the following round through patient play, as EliGE eliminated the bomb planter, causing mousesports to run out of time.
Liquid continued their dominance by claiming the next five rounds, losing only three players in total. Mousesports fought back with a round win of their own and managed to narrowly secure the last two rounds of the half, which were crucial for their chances of a comeback.
The second half began with Liquid swiftly winning the T side pistol round, thanks to EliGE’s three frags. However, Liquid’s sloppy anti-eco gave mousesports an opportunity to bounce back. Despite the setback, nitr0 stepped up and clutched a 1v2, ensuring Liquid maintained their lead.
Mousesports showed some signs of life with a solid first frag by chrisJ. However, JDM’s remarkable UMP-45 kills turned the tide in favor of Liquid, ultimately leading them to a 16-4 victory.
Mousesports has been eliminated, and Liquid will prepare to face another opponent later today for a legends spot.
