Limited Time: Don’t Miss Out on Operation Hydra Passes

The End of Operation Hydra in CS:GO

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s longest operation is soon coming to a close. Many missions, game modes, and maps will no longer be available in the game.

The last day to purchase access passes for Operation Hydra is Sunday, Nov. 5. The operation is set to end on Nov. 13. Initially, it was supposed to run until September but was extended to allow new Chinese users on the Perfect World client to enjoy the content. The pass is currently priced at $2.99, which is half of its original price, so newer Operation players can try it at a discount.

Valve stated in a blog post in September that “the most played Operation game modes during the final month of the operation will be added to CS:GO… the most played Operation maps of the final month in Competitive Matchmaking and Casual will replace the least played maps in those modes.”

This means that many maps, such as Agency, Insertion, Austria, Black Gold, Lite, Shipped, Thrill, Rialto, and Dizzy, will be available for less than two weeks until they are removed permanently. The same goes for the operation’s game modes, including Wingman, Weapons Expert, Heavy Assault Suit, Headshots Only, Hunters-Gatherers, Stab Stab Zap, and the Flying Scoutsman.
