Latest names of YouTubers and part-owner of EnVyUs get involved in CS:GO gambling scandal

Controversy Hits YouTubers for Failure to Disclose Ownership of CSGOLotto

After the recent Counter-Strike gambling scandal involving streamer Mohamad “m0E” Assad, two prominent YouTubers, Trevor “TmarTn” Martin and Tom “ProSyndicate” Cassell, are facing similar controversy. They have been accused of not disclosing their ownership of the skin gambling site CSGOLotto, despite creating videos in which they gamble large sums of money on the platform.

JoshOG Admits to Holding Equity in CSGOLotto

Another YouTuber and streamer, “JoshOG,” has admitted to holding equity in CSGOLotto but claims it is part of a sponsorship and does not consider himself an owner.

TmarTn’s Ownership in EnVyUs

TmarTn is also a minority owner of top Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, and League of Legends franchise EnVyUs.

YouTube Channels Accuse TmarTn and ProSyndicate

YouTube channels H3H3productions and HonorTheCall released videos accusing TmarTn and ProSyndicate of not disclosing their ownership of CSGOLotto. They included a clip of TmarTn talking about the site without disclosing his ownership. TmarTn claimed that his ownership was never a secret, but has since updated his video descriptions to include a disclaimer without mentioning his ownership.

ProSyndicate apologized for any feelings of being misled and claimed to have provided a disclosure on every video that was approved by YouTube staff.

EnVyUs released a statement claiming that while TmarTn has equity in CSGOLotto, he has had no involvement or input in the company during his time as an owner. The team will be investigating further.

As controversies in the skin gambling industry and the lack of transparency in sponsorships continue to grow, this is unlikely to be the last issue faced by the Counter-Strike community.
