KNG Let Go by 100 Thieves due to Inappropriate Conduct

Vito “kNg” Giuseppe Released from 100 Thieves

Vito “kNg” Giuseppe, who had not yet made his debut for 100 Thieves, has been released from the organization. This comes after he made inappropriate comments towards journalist Duncan “Thorin” Shields on Twitter.

Inappropriate Remarks Lead to Release

Thorin made a joke on Twitter regarding the integrity of 100 Thieves, which kNg took offense to. In response, kNg made a homophobic comment. As a result, 100 Thieves decided to part ways with him.

Pursuit of a New Player

It is rumored that 100 Thieves may look to sign Joao “felps” Vasconcellos from SK Gaming. Felps is currently playing with the Brazilian lineup at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston, and he will be concluding his time with SK this weekend. 100 Thieves sees potential in felps and is considering adding him to their roster.

Visa Issues Prevent Participation in the Boston Major

Unfortunately, 100 Thieves was unable to compete in the Boston Major due to visa issues. This setback has been disappointing for the organization.

100 Thieves is the second organization to release kNg due to unprofessional behavior. Immortals, his previous team, terminated his contract in September after he threatened to kill another player on Twitter. It is clear that kNg needs to work on his professionalism in order to find success in the esports industry.
