June 2015’s Top 10 CS:GO World Ranking by Rich

CS:GO Top 10 World Rankings for June 2021

In Thorin’s CS:GO top 10 world rankings, Counter-Strike has always struggled with constantly updated world rankings. Although the HLTV top 10 threads are accurate, for my top 10 rankings, I consider the online and offline records of each team, as well as the importance of each match. A match to determine who goes to LAN holds more weight than a match between two teams with no chance of making it to LAN.

Updates Every Month

I will be updating my rankings at the beginning of every month.

In the month of June, the following events took place: Fragbite Masters Season 4, Dreamhack Open Summer, Starseries XIII, and Gfinity Summer Masters 1.

1. Fnatic

Offline Results:

Fragbite Masters Season 4: 2nd

Dreamhack Open Summer: 1st

Online Record:

22-5

Fnatic attended two out of the four LANs this month and reached the finals in both of them. They lost to TSM in the Fragbite Masters Season 4 finals with a score of 3-1. At Dreamhack, Fnatic had an impressive performance, winning every map they played. They defeated NiP in the semi-finals and Na’Vi in the finals.

For online matches, Fnatic had an interesting month, dropping five maps out of twenty-seven matches. However, two of the losses were against Titan and one against HellRaisers, teams that Fnatic should have beaten easily.

2. TSM (Team SoloMid)

Offline Results:

Fragbite Masters Season 4: 1st

Online Record:

24-10

TSM attended only one LAN this month, Fragbite Masters Season 4, where they defeated Fnatic in the finals. Although they have beaten Fnatic offline, they still need to win more matches against them in order to secure the top spot.

Their online performance was shaky, losing ten out of thirty-four maps. In comparison, Fnatic only lost five out of twenty-seven maps. This is why TSM is in second place instead of first.

3. EnvyUs

Offline Results:

Star Series XIII: 2nd

Gfinity Summer Masters I: 1st

Online Record:

34-13

Envy attended Star Series and Gfinity this month. At Star Series, they lost to Na’Vi in the finals, which was a great match but should have been a tournament that they won. At Gfinity, Envy performed well, only dropping maps in the earlier stages of the tournament, but winning all series 2-1.

Envy had a large number of online matches in June, playing a total of forty-seven maps and winning thirty-four of them. However, they only managed to beat Fnatic once out of the six times they played against them online.

4. Na’Vi (Natus Vincere)

Offline Results:

Fragbite Masters season 4: 3-4th

Dreamhack Open Summer: 2nd

Star Series XIII: 1st

Online Record:

18-23

Na’Vi attended three out of the four LAN tournaments in June. They had a disappointing result at Fragbite, where they were eliminated early. At Dreamhack, they reached the finals but were defeated by Fnatic. However, at Star Series, they performed exceptionally well and secured first place with the support of the home crowd in Kiev.

Na’Vi had a poor online performance this month, with a record of 18-23. They faced difficulties with DDoS attacks, which affected their gameplay. To improve their ranking, they need to perform better online and maintain consistency offline.

5. Virtus Pro

Offline Results:

Gfinity Summer Masters I: 5th-8th

Online Record:

19-22

Virtus Pro had a disappointing performance at Gfinity, losing to mousesports. However, they are ranked above NiP due to NiP’s overall poor performance. Virtus Pro needs to regain their previous form if they want to climb back up the rankings.

Since ESEA season 18 LAN in April, Virtus Pro has not achieved any significant victories. They need to show better performance in the month of July to avoid further decline.

6. NiP (Ninjas in Pyjamas)

Offline Results:

Dreamhack Open Summer: 3rd-4th

Gfinity Summer Masters I: 2nd

Online Record:

15-8

NiP has been struggling lately. They lost to Na’Vi in the group stages of Dreamhack, resulting in a semi-final matchup against Fnatic, which they lost. At Gfinity, they were crushed by Envy in the finals.

In online matches, NiP played twenty-three matches with a better record than Na’Vi and Virtus Pro. However, they need to perform better at LAN events to regain their top 5 ranking.

7. Dignitas

Offline Results:

Dreamhack Summer Open: 5th-8th

Gfinity Summer Masters I: 3rd-4th

Online Record:

6-11

Dignitas has consistently beaten Titan, which makes them the better team. Although Titan may have better online results, Dignitas’ victories against Titan have allowed them to surpass them in the rankings. At Dreamhack, they failed to make it out of the groups, but at Gfinity, they performed well, defeating Titan once again and having a close series against Envy in the semi-finals.

Dignitas had a small number of online matches this month, winning only six out of seventeen matches. Their record is not impressive, but it is better than some other teams in the rankings.

8. Titan

Offline Results:

Dreamhack Summer Open: 3rd-4th

Gfinity Summer Masters I: 5th-8th

Online Record:

19-20

Titan failed to reach the finals of any LAN event this month. They lost to Na’Vi in the semi-finals at Dreamhack and were lackluster at Gfinity, losing to Dignitas. Although Titan has a better record than Na’Vi and Virtus Pro, they need to perform better at LAN events to improve their ranking.

Titan played a significant number of online matches this month, going slightly negative with a record of 19-20. Their performance at LAN events will determine whether they can surpass Dignitas or potentially climb higher.

9. mousesports

Offline Results:

Gfinity Summer Masters I: 3rd-4th

Online Record:

16-13

mousesports had a good run at Gfinity, defeating VP and putting up a fight against Envy. Although VP is currently struggling, mousesports deserve their spot in the top 10 for their performance in the tournament.

Similar to Na’Vi and VP, mousesports have a better online record but it doesn’t have much impact on their placing since they often play against weaker teams.

10. Flipsid3

Offline Results:

Dreamhack Open Summer: 5th-8th

Star Series XII: 3rd-4th

Online Record:

10-16

Flipsid3 didn’t perform well at Dreamhack, only making it to the group stage. However, they had a better performance at Star Series, reaching the semi-finals and securing a top 4 finish at a tier 2 event.

Flipsid3’s online record is not impressive, winning only 10 out of 26 matches. They need to improve their performance in both online and offline events to climb higher in the rankings.

The Month Ahead

July promises a lot of exciting Counter-Strike matches. We have the ESEA ESL LAN and ESWC Montreal happening this weekend. Dreamhack Valencia is also taking place in July, along with the qualifiers for ESL One Cologne.
