Immortals Acquire SK Gaming Players; MIBR Welcomes Tinder and Betway as Sponsors

Immortals Returns to the Counter-Strike Scene with New Roster and Sponsors

Exciting news in the world of Counter-Strike as Immortals announces the arrival of SK Gaming’s Brazilian-majority team, who will now compete under the Made in Brazil (MIBR) brand. The team includes popular players such as Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Marcelo “coldzera” David, and Fernando “fer” Alvarenga, along with coach Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia.

New Sponsors and Preparation for ESL One Cologne

In addition to acquiring the new roster, Immortals has secured Tinder and Betway as sponsors for MIBR. This is in addition to the team’s current sponsors, Razer, Mountain Dew, and K-Swiss. Tinder will be offering exclusive esports-related giveaways to its subscribers, including access to MIBR events.

Immortals’ general manager, Tomi “lurppis” Kovanen, will also be joining the MIBR roster in Los Angeles as they prepare for the upcoming ESL One Cologne tournament. The tournament, taking place from July 3 to 8 in Germany, will feature 16 teams from around the world.

Smooth Transition for Immortals

The transition for Immortals should be seamless as they have experience with Brazilian talent. Their last notable placement in CS:GO was at the PGL Krakow Major last July. After taking a break from the world scene for six months, Immortals is back and ready to make a mark in the esports community.

CEO Noah Whinston expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating, “Brazil is incredibly passionate about esports, and this acquisition allows us to foster further esports growth in what we believe is still a relatively untapped market in Brazil and throughout South America.”
