IEM Dallas 2024 CS2 Format and Prize Pool

Format

The IEM Dallas 2024 tournament consists of two main stages: Group Stage and Playoff Stage.

Group Stage

• Groups: The participating teams are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B.
• Match Formats:
  • The initial matches are Best of 1 (BO1).
  • All subsequent matches follow the Best of 3 (BO3) format.

Advancement to Playoffs

The top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs, held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Centre.

• First-Place Teams:
  • Advance directly to the Semi-finals.
• Second and Third-Place Teams:
  • Move to the Quarter-finals.
  • Second-place teams receive a higher seed.
  • Third-place teams receive a lower seed.

Playoff Stage

The playoff stage includes the Quarter-finals and Semi-finals, leading up to the grand finale of the tournament. In the playoffs, a single elimination bracket will be used, with every match being a best-of-three series.

The grand final will take place on Monday, June 3.
