Hiko to Coach Teenagers at IMG’s CS:GO Bootcamp

Teenagers Get the Chance to Attend ELEAGUE Esports Bootcamp

An exciting opportunity awaits teenagers who are passionate about competitive gaming. Turner’s ELEAGUE, in collaboration with IMG Academy, is hosting an esports bootcamp in Bradenton, Florida from July 30 to August 5. This week-long event will provide attendees aged 12 to 18 with the chance to learn and practice Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) alongside some of North America’s top players.

A Unique Learning Experience at IMG’s Training Facility

The bootcamp will take place at IMG’s state-of-the-art training facility, which has previously been used by professional CS:GO teams such as FaZe Clan and compLexity Gaming. The program has been carefully developed over the course of a year, incorporating training techniques garnered from the experiences of these teams. Although not identical, the bootcamp will utilize valuable insights gained from the past sessions.

Top-tier Coaches and a Comprehensive Training Program

The focus of the bootcamp is to teach participants the intricacies of various CS:GO maps, as well as in-game tactics. To accomplish this, the attendees will have the expertise of renowned players Spencer “Hiko” Martin and Eric “adreN” Hoag, along with former mousesports coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović. Hiko and adreN are considered to be two of the most successful players from North America, having reached the semifinals of the 2016 MLG Columbus Valve Major – a remarkable achievement. Additionally, the bootcamp will also include mental and physical coaching from professionals in traditional sports, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Valuable Opportunities and World-class Facilities

While attending the bootcamp does come with a price, starting at $1,999 without lodging and $2,749 with lodging, the organizers emphasize the value-packed experience it offers. Lilia Russo, IMG’s director of esports strategy and engagement, states, “The coaches are the world’s best and the program is built in a world-class facility. This is an opportunity to feature everything that comes with it.” It’s a chance for participants to immerse themselves in a truly exceptional esports environment.

If you’re between the ages of 12 and 18 and aspire to be a competitive gamer, you can sign up for IMG’s esports bootcamp on IMG Academy’s website.
