In today’s matches, HR lost in triple overtime to Luminosity on Cache with a scoreline of 25-23. Despite the loss, they bounced back and dominated Fnatic and Liquid on Inferno, winning with scores of 16-5 and 16-4 respectively. HellRaisers will face tougher opponents tomorrow, going up against FaZe and Astralis to conclude the group stage. Issa “ISSAA” Murad and Kirill “ANGE1” Karasiow stood out among their teammates, with ANGE1 averaging 21 kills and a 113.35 average damage per round in both wins.

On the other hand, Fnatic may have suffered a crushing defeat against HellRaisers, but they rallied and secured victories over Luminosity on Cobblestone (16-13) and a surprising win against FaZe Clan in overtime on Inferno (19-15). The Swedes made a comeback after a successful anti-eco round on their Terrorist side, giving them an advantage heading into day two of Group A competition.

The matches tomorrow will determine which team will secure a spot in the semifinals on Dec. 9, which two teams will become quarterfinalists on Dec. 8, and which three teams will be eliminated from the $750,000 tournament. The Group A matches will continue tomorrow at 6am ET.
