GODSENT Takes Dennis Off Active Roster and Parts Ways with Znajder

Changes in GODSENT’s Roster: Dennis and Znajder Depart

In a major team shakeup, two of GODSENT’s key players have been removed from the active roster, causing a significant change for the struggling Swedish team.

Earlier today, Dennis Edman was moved to the inactive player roster, while Andreas “Znajder” Lindberg was released and is now a free agent. This decision comes after Znajder had been with the organization since its founding in April 2016. To fill the void left by the departing Swedes, Hampus Poser and Jacob “pyth” Mourujärvi will be stepping into the lineup. It’s worth mentioning that Dennis will be joining his former Fnatic teammate Markus “pronax” Wallsten on GODSENT’s bench.

Both Dennis and Znajder cited reasons for no longer wanting to play with GODSENT. They expressed their frustration with the lack of structure and role confusion within the team, which made it evident to them that the team’s playstyle lacked cohesion and a consistent strategy.

Dennis expressed his discontent, stating, “The way we play in GODSENT is not the way I want to play. There’s no structure, discipline, or teamplay. I just became increasingly tired because I know I can do so much more as a player with a more structured team and game plan supporting me.”

Since pronax stepped down as in-game leader around the same time Dennis joined the lineup in August, GODSENT has also struggled without a well-established leader to guide them.

Facing similar frustrations, Znajder revealed, “All this made me extremely unmotivated day by day for the last eight months. The only time I could turn up the heat was at LAN tournaments and show a good level of play. But online, it’s just been awful. I’ve been contemplating my next move for a long time, feeling misplaced and in need of a fresh start with like-minded individuals.”

Dennis and Znajder leave behind Simon “twist” Eliasson, Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun, and Fredrik “freddieb” Buo on GODSENT. The futures of Dennis and pronax will depend on negotiations with potential organizations, as they are still under long-term contracts. On the other hand, Znajder is free to sign with any team as a free agent.
