The ELEAGUE Major: North Defeats GODSENT in Nail-Biter Overtime Match

The final group stage match at the ELEAGUE Major began with North facing off against GODSENT on Overpass. Early on, North secured the pistol round thanks to some great kills from k0nfig and cajunb. They continued to dominate, stringing together four more rounds with standout performances from Magisk. However, GODSENT rallied back with impressive play from Flusha, grabbing three kills and securing their first round. Flusha continued to wreak havoc, picking up five frags in the following rounds, allowing GODSENT to catch up. North managed to pull ahead again with a well-executed two-on-three play from Rubino and cajunb. The half ended in favor of GODSENT, with JW and Flusha each delivering 3k-rounds.

In the second half, North secured another pistol round win thanks to Magisk’s exceptional performance, picking up three kills. They followed it up with a successful anti-eco and gun round, preventing an early reset. GODSENT fought back with a force buy, but North managed to win the round with pistol frags from k0nfig, Rubino, and MSL. Despite GODSENT’s continuous efforts, North maintained their lead. A crucial one-on-one clutch from cajunb put North just one round away from match point. However, GODSENT managed to reply back, keeping the game intense. The pressure was on for North to win their next buy round, and they did, ensuring their victory. GODSENT won one more round, but flusha sealed the deal with a three-kill round, ending the match with a scoreline of 19-17 in favor of North.

North Secures Legend Status, GODSENT Eliminated

After a nail-biting match, North emerged victorious, cementing their legendary status in the tournament. On the other hand, GODSENT has been knocked out.
