ESWC CSGO 2015 Final: Event Details and Prize Pool
The Electronic Sports World Cup, also known as ESWC, has released more information about their upcoming event, ESWC CSGO 2015 Final in Montreal, Canada. This includes details about the event format and the prize pool.
Participants and Prize Pool
In the male section of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, sixteen teams will be competing. These teams have either been invited, qualified, or accepted through applications. The prize pool for the tournament is $75,000, which will be divided among the top eight teams. Additionally, the event organizers have added an extra $75,000 for travel support.
Format
The 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four. Each team will face off against the others in a best of one, round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next day of matches, which will be a single elimination, best of three series playoff.

Here is the breakdown of the prizes for the top eight teams:
1st Place: $30,000
2nd Place: $15,000
3rd/4th Place: $8,000
5th-8th Place: $3,500
