FollowEsports Acquires Former Elevate Counter-Strike Team

FollowEsports Parts Ways with Previous Counter-Strike Roster

FollowEsports has decided to cut ties with its previous Counter-Strike team due to management issues. Instead, they have formed a brand new team.

The team formerly known as ex-Elevate will now play under the FollowEsports name. They currently hold the top spot in the ESEA NA Pro Division with a 10-1 record, which is quite impressive considering they have only been together for about four weeks.

The team consists of Steven “rooRooo” Herrell, Adam “aKis” Kisseberth, Alec “Slemmy” White, Jacky “Stewie2k” Yip, and Peter “ptr” Gurney. Gurney, in particular, has been on several teams this year alone and has now found his place with FollowEsports.

This signing also signifies the departure of FollowEsports’ previous Counter-Strike team, the former SapphireKelownaDotCom. The team and sponsor had conflicts over their attempt to secure a better sponsorship deal, leading to some players leaving. These former players are now expected to announce a new brand in the upcoming weeks.
