Fnatic defeats Mousesports and Immortals in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier

Fnatic secures playoff spot in ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier Group B

The Group B competition in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier concluded yesterday, with Fnatic earning the final championship bracket slot. After North secured the first spot by winning two matches on Friday, they defeated Fnatic in the opening game and Immortals in the winners showmatch, forcing Fnatic into the losers bracket.

In the losers match, Fnatic faced off against Mousesports in a best-of-three series. Fnatic dominated on Train, winning 16-5, and Mousesports won on Mirage with a score of 16-13. The series came down to the final map, Cobblestone, where Fnatic made a comeback and won 16-13. Newcomers Lekr0 and Golden performed exceptionally well, leading Fnatic to victory and securing their spot in the decider match against Immortals.

The decider match was a quick win for Fnatic, as they swept Immortals. Fnatic showed dominance on Train, finishing with a score of 16-10. They also made a comeback on Inferno, turning a 10-5 deficit into a 16-14 victory. Every member of the Fnatic roster performed well in their final win of the group stage.

With this victory, Fnatic joins FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, and North as quarterfinalists in the competition scheduled for Oct. 10.

Next up in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier is Group C contention, starting on Sept. 22. Virtus Pro, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Cloud9, and Team EnVyUs will battle it out for group stage survival.
