Fix on the way for “Bodyy” wallbang, potentially rendering it ineffective

Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro’s Infamous Terrorist Wallbang in Danger of Being Nerfed in Next CS:GO Update

There may be some bad news for fans of Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro’s legendary Terrorist wallbang on Cache in the next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update. Shawn “FMPONE” Snelling, one of the creators of Cache, has made a change to reduce the damage of the middle-map wallbang for AWP shots. Currently, a headshot decreases a player’s health to 90 percent, but FMPONE is now open to damage value suggestions from professional players on Twitter.

The Infamous Wallbang:

To pull off this impressive shot, players on the Terrorist side have to crouch on top of the crate by the spawn gate and align their crosshair on a specific spot on a wall outside the garage. This wallbang is timed to hit any Counter-Terrorist coming out of the Z doorway from spawn at the 1:49 round time.

The Debate:

However, many professional players and members of the community consider this kill to be cheap and unfair for the Counter-Terrorist side. The Counter-Terrorists are forced to wait past the 1:49 round timer or risk getting hit by the wallbang, potentially giving up middle map control. Additionally, there is no effective counterplay from the Z doorway. The automatic advantage gained from this shot is seen as unfair by many.

A Popular Strategy:

Once Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro and G2 Esports popularized this shot, many professional players started incorporating it into their own playstyles. It became a quick and easy way to gain a man-advantage or secure control over the middle of the map.

A Request for Immortality:

If the upcoming patch doesn’t include a graffiti to immortalize this wallbang in the game, Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro and his supporters may be disappointed.

For now, the wallbang remains in play until Valve releases the next CS:GO update.
