Valve’s Update for Counter-Strike 2 Improves Inferno Map

Valve’s recent update for Counter-Strike 2 brings significant changes to the Inferno map. After the sequel’s release, Inferno lost its popularity among players. However, developers have now addressed the issues and made improvements.

Players Disappointed with Inferno Map in CS2

Inferno used to be a favorite map in the Counter-Strike series, but when it came to Counter-Strike 2, players were disappointed. The map was criticized for being cluttered and evoking a sense of claustrophobia. Professional player Erik “fl0m” Flom even created a video describing the map’s shortcomings.

Due to these issues, Inferno was frequently banned during map vetoes by players. This problem became more apparent at the IEM Katowice tournament, where Inferno was only picked twice, according to coverage site HLTV.
