FaZe and Fnatic Lead ESL Pro League Heading into Final Week

ESL Pro League: FaZe and Fnatic Battle for Top Playoff Seed

Season six of the ESL Pro League is coming to an end, and two of the world’s best esports teams, FaZe and Fnatic, are currently in a tight race for the top playoff seed in the European region.

FaZe and Fnatic are both sitting at 14-8 records with 43 points, and they are tied for first place in the league. In the past week, FaZe had an impressive performance, going 4-0 and winning best-of-one matches against GODSENT on Cobblestone and Inferno. Additionally, they were given two free wins from forfeits by Team LDLC. Rain from FaZe dominated the matches, securing a total of 58 kills and an impressive average damage of 124 per map.

Fnatic and OpTic maintain their positions at the top of their regions in the ESL Pro League.

The past week wasn’t as successful for Fnatic, as they lost to North in two thrilling overtime matches on Mirage and Cobblestone. However, they still maintain a higher position than North in the league standings. The current playoff seedings are as follows: Fnatic, FaZe, North, Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and G2 Esports. It’s important to note that these rankings may change as the season comes to a close.

Heroic, Natus Vincere, and Team Envy find themselves at the bottom of the European standings. In the last week of competition, these teams will need to step up their game if they want to avoid relegation to the ESEA Premier Division.

The final week of the ESL Pro League kicks off on November 7th. This week will determine which teams will contend for the league finals in Odense, Denmark, taking place in December.
