Fancy1 Becomes a Free Agent Following Intense Split from TyLoo

China’s premier CSGO team resolves roster issues

The roster problems that plagued China’s top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) team, TyLoo, seem to have come to an end.

Cai “fancy1” Lun Yu has announced that he is now a free agent after being suspended from TyLoo for nearly two months. TyLoo and Zhejiang Technology Limited had an “unhappy incident,” but have now reached a resolution, according to a statement on TyLoo’s Weibo account. The two parties are now on good terms, and the issues have been peacefully settled.

In the incident, fancy1 and his teammates AttackeR, somebody, and former coach Karsa were accused of negotiating with other Chinese organizations while still under contract with TyLoo.

TyLoo responded by firing Karsa and suspending fancy1 and AttackeR. Somebody initially received a temporary suspension but was later reinstated to the active roster. AttackeR even competed with TyLoo at DreamHack Masters Las Vegas between Feb. 15 and 19.

Until recently, fancy1 was still bound by his contract with TyLoo, preventing him from joining another organization. However, given his status as one of China’s best players, it is likely that he will find a new team soon.
