FACEIT Reveals Multi-Million Dollar League

$3.5 Million Esports League

The $3.5 million Esports Championship Series (ECS) will be divided into two divisions – one for Europe and one for North America. Each division will consist of eight invited teams and two qualified teams. The top teams from each division will compete in a LAN event. The prize pool will be split over the two seasons of ECS. Additionally, teams will have the opportunity to “co-own” the ECS and earn a share of the tournament’s revenue.

FACEIT and Previous Leagues

FACEIT previously hosted the third season of their own “FACEIT League”, which was won by Fnatic. They also assisted with the ELeague Road to Vegas, a qualifier for the ELeague season league.

ECS Qualifiers

The qualifiers for ECS will take place from April 6-8 in both Europe and North America. The event will feature a Round Robin stage, where four teams from each division will compete to reach the semifinals. In the semifinals, two invited teams will face off against the teams that advanced from the Round Robin stage, battling for the two spots in each division.
