ELEAGUE strengthens collaboration with US Air Force

ELEAGUE Expands Marketing Partnership with U.S. Air Force

Turner’s esports initiative ELEAGUE will expand its marketing partnership with the U.S. Air Force in 2018. The partnership includes various ELEAGUE events, with the first being the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier from July 21 to 29. During the broadcasts, viewers can expect to see branding, on-site activities, and features by the U.S. Air Force.

“ELEAGUE carefully selects partners that have a genuine connection to our fans and understand the value of authentic voices in the esports community,” stated Seth Ladetsky in a press release. “The Air Force fits perfectly in this regard, and we are thrilled to work closely with them to showcase their support for our servicemen and women.”

ELEAGUE and the U.S. Air Force plan to bring three sponsored on-air activations to viewers, which will include map analysis and video content from U.S. Air Force Bases. The military division will also present the victory ceremony of the $300,000 ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier tournament on July 29 across ELEAGUE’s Twitch stream and social media platforms.

This expanded partnership follows the successful collaboration between the two parties during ELEAGUE’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Valve Major in January. The U.S. Air Force sponsored an on-air segment called “Map Tactics” and the MVP award at the event was named after the U.S. Air Force.

This partnership with the U.S. Air Force marks ELEAGUE’s second sponsorship targeting an older demographic in 2018. On June 11, ELEAGUE became the first-ever esports league to partner with a hard liquor sponsor, the Kraken Black Rum distillery.
