ELeague showcases American and OnFire talent.

The First Week of ELeague Kicks Off with New Broadcast Team

In just two days, the highly anticipated 1.2 million USD ELeague from Turner television and WME/IMG talent will begin, and the broadcast team has finally been announced. TBS will see the familiar faces of the foremost casting team OnFire on Friday, including Anders, Semmler, and Moses. In addition, Richard Lewis will head a three-man desk featuring mostly American talent. Dust, who recently casted CEVO, will be joined by Moe, a co-owner and former player of ELeague team Echo Fox. Moe, known for his popular streaming, will be new to the world of broadcasting in a more formal manner.

The talent announcement extends beyond the on-camera personalities to the production room. Observers Sapphire and Prius, who have recently worked with ESL ProLeague, will present the action. However, there will be one notable omission from this crew: Thorin. Due to presumed visa issues, he has not attended any events in the US since the MLG Major in Columbus. Hopefully, he can resolve these issues soon and join the banter with Shaq in the later weeks and groups. The talent lineup for this league is mostly American, with the exception of Anders and Semmler, most likely to avoid further visa complications.

Exciting Format and Top Teams

This 24-team league showcases 17 of the top 20 teams according to the HLTV rankings. The teams are divided into 6 groups of 4, and each week they will play double round robins before heading into a single elimination best-of-three bracket. While the official breakdown of the prize pool and pick ban is yet to be released, fans can expect intense competition and thrilling matches.
