ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier team list finalized with Immortals, Team Liquid, and Renegades

ELEAGUE’s CS:GO Premier Welcomes Three New North American Competitors

Last night, ELEAGUE’s CS:GO Premier added three more teams from North America to its roster, setting the stage for another thrilling season of Counter-Strike.

The online qualifier concluded with Immortals, Team Liquid, and Renegades securing the top three spots in the North American bracket. This achievement means that these teams will be part of the upcoming $1 million tournament series in Atlanta, Georgia, taking place from September 8 to October 13.

Immortals had a smooth path in the qualifier, not dropping a single map. On the other hand, Liquid and Renegades faced each other in the later stages, with Liquid emerging victorious after a three-map battle. Renegades secured the final spot in the Premier after defeating Obey Alliance in the third-place match last night.

Other notable North American teams such as CLG, Misfits, and NRG Esports did not make it to the qualifying round.

These three teams will join a roster of participants who were either invited based on their performance in previous ELEAGUE seasons in 2016 or earned slots through the European qualifier. The invited teams include Astralis, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Mousesports, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, North, SK Gaming, and Virtus Pro. The teams qualifying from Europe are Team EnVyUs, Heroic, and Immortals.

The Group A competition will mark the beginning of ELEAGUE’s tournament series from September 8 to September 9. FaZe, Na’Vi, G2, and another team to be announced will battle it out for two of the eight playoff spots in the October bracket.
