DAVEY and Machinegun part ways with Splyce

Splyce Releases Two Players from Roster

Splyce has announced on their website that they will be parting ways with two players. David “DAVEY” Stafford and Enkhtaivan “Machinegun” Lkhagva have been released by the organization, with their replacements yet to be announced.

Reasons Behind Machinegun’s Release

Splyce’s decision to release Machinegun is due to the language barrier difficulties faced by the team and Machinegun, who is Mongolian. The roster change comes after disappointing results in recent tournaments, where Splyce finished in last place at the Northern Arena Toronto and the iBUYPOWER Fall Invitational. It should be noted, however, that Splyce faced tough competition from SK Gaming at the iBUYPOWER event.

A Contrast in Results

The team’s recent results are a stark contrast to the beginning of the year, where they qualified for the MLG Columbus Major after defeating a stronger Counter Logic Gaming side and Vexed. It will be interesting to see if a roster change can bring about better results for the team.
