A potential return of Retake mode would mark the second resurrected game mode from CS:GO while other modes like the battle royale Danger Zone remain absent.

Gameplay Changes and Cheating Concerns in CS2

Counter-Strike 2‘s recent update not only brought back left-handed viewmodels but also revamped Inferno’s design by removing some tall buildings. Overpass was swapped out of the Active Duty map pool in favor of Dust 2, accompanied by several tweaks to enhance the overall gaming experience. Despite prominent cheating issues, CS2 continues to attract a substantial player base, signaling a promising future for the competitive FPS genre.
