EGX 2016 to Host Gfinity CS:GO Invitational with $100,000 Prize Pool
EGX 2016 will be hosting Gfinity’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive invitational, featuring top content creators such as Hat Films and The Yogscast. Alongside these entertainers, four of the best CS:GO teams in the world will compete for a chance to win a share of $100,000.
” alt=””>The Gfinity CS:GO invitational will take place during EGX 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham from September 22-25. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Gfinity’s “Play Like A Pro” event on the first day, where they can play in the same soundproof booths used by professional players.
” alt=””>Two of the four teams have already been confirmed for the invitational: GODSENT and mousesports. The remaining two teams will be announced soon.
” alt=””>Gfinity has also announced that Team EnVyUs will be the third team participating in the CS:GO invitational.
” alt=””>The tournament will span three days, with the semifinals taking place on Friday and Saturday, and the finals on Sunday. Last year, Team EnVyUs emerged as the champions.
