Glove Skins: The New Craze in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
In Valve’s latest update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, they have introduced glove skins which are expected to become the newest trend in the game. The update includes the Glove Case, containing twenty-four different glove skins. Seventeen of these skins are created by the community, and the proceeds will be given to the skin creators, just like with gun skins.
A Result of the StarLadder i-League Tournaments
The interest in glove skins started with the StarLadder i-League tournaments this year. The tournament organizers implemented a plugin that featured cosmetic glove skins with team logos and colors on the in-game player models for the participating teams. This concept has now become a reality in Counter-Strike, creating another sub-market within the game’s steam market economy alongside gun skins and graffiti sprays.
